A project with a Bahian soul for a São Paulo couple in search of the quiet life for family and guests in the vicinity of Trancoso. Construction was on a cliff top, offering a 180-degree view. The program was distributed in independent blocks: the main house, connecting to the leisure block through the pool and two bungalows for guests. The structure based on wooden logs and a “taubilha” covering using wooden roofing tiles was designed to reduce the interference of the architectural project on the landscape and to insert it into the local constructive language. The swimming and reflecting pools are responsible for the connection between the different pavilions and the visual approach of the house with the sea.
